The Hyundai i10 Inokom was launched by the Hyundai Sime-Darby Motor Company on automobile market in Malasia.
Overview
Even though the i10 has replaced the Hyundai Santro (Atos) in the global line-up of Hyundai, both the i10 and the Atos, (which is called Santro in Asian automobile market) will be offered in Indian, Chinese, as well as other Asian markets.
Amazing Features
The Hyundai i10 Inokom has become more popular mainly on account of its latest features. It has a smooth four speed automatic transmission mated to a highly fuel efficient engine and a large gap is provided for luggage under the rear seats.
Hyundai i10 Inokom Performance
It has the 1.1 liter Epsilon family engine (not the 1.2 liter seen on the new kappa), which can produce 65.8 horsepower rated at 5,500 rotations per minute, and generates a torque of 99.1 N-m.
Coming to the safety features of the Hyundai i10 Inokom, all the standard offerings such as antilock brakes, twin SRS airbags, and a four star Euro NCAP body protection are available as a part of the regular package. The entertainment features include an integrated 2-DIN audio CD player combined with MP3 and aux input support.
The interior is rather monotonous and basic with endless fields of grey but there is a slight touch of “high-end”, thanks to the dash-mounted shift lever instead of being in the conventional position between the two front seats. But, the Hyundai i10 Inokom gives great value for money, on the whole!
